Articles are for longer-form writing. If it needs a title and multiple paragraphs, it's an article.

Notes are quick thoughts - basically tweets that I actually own. Maybe they're tagged and timestamped.

Books track what I'm reading. Each book gets a page with my review and any reading notes I've taken.

Bookmarks are bookmarks. They show up in a simple table on the Links page.

Indexes pretty much articles about articles.
